Northern Lights

Northern Lights above Tromsø

According to NASA scientists, the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) are going to be especially strong this winter. And where better to be than Northern Norway, which is the best place in the world to see this phenomenon.

Laukvik, Tromsø, Alta and Kirkenes (described in the Norwegian Cruising Guide) are all good places from which to view this incredible sight. Or you can take the coastal boat (Hurtigruten).

We know that some of our readers are based in Northern Norway this winter on their boat. We envy you!
