Printed Book

OK, bottom line: There is no printed book, at least not yet. However, before you leave this page, please give us a chance to explain why. If, after reading our explanation, you would still like a printed copy we will add your name to a list of people to be informed when and if there is one.

As full-time, live aboard cruisers, we are distressingly familiar with the significant costs of buying the required charts and publications for cruising a new place. Spending €40 to €60 for a cruising guide that is often already, or soon will be, out of date, really pains us. With this in mind, we have published the the Norwegian Cruising Guide as an eBook.

Benefits of an eBook:

If you don’t have a computer on board, you can print out the pages for the area you are interested in cruising.

We realize that a real paper book with all the colour pictures and illustrations that the eBook has, updated every two years and sold at a reasonable cost, would be the perfect solution for many of us. But the reality of publishing a paper book of this size is little or no colour, infrequent updates and a price of around €40 to €60, plus shipping. We know that sounds high, but remember that the Guide is over 540 pages at A4; twice the size of most guides.
