Free Waypoint File

-
The Google Earth file is in kmz format that can be viewed in Google Earth or Google Maps.
-
The Generic file is a comma delimited text csv file with three fields: name, lat, long that can be read and manipulated in any spreadsheet or word processing program and is loadable into most modern navigation programs and many plotters, albeit with some manipulation. Your electronics dealer should also be able to perform this upload for you.
-
The PC Planner file is a proprietary C-MAP xml file that can be loaded directly into C-MAP PC Planner, http://pcplanner.c-map.it/, using the File Manager under the File menu. Once the waypoints are in PC Planner, the file can be moved to a C-MAP user card for use in many plotters. Note that the file has been compressed as a Zip file and will need to be extracted before you can use it. Also changing the file name will make the file unusable in PC Planner.
Please note that:
-
The waypoints are at the approximate position of the harbours and are for planning use only. They are not for navigational use.
-
We are not in a position to provide support on loading this waypoint file into your software or plotter.
