First off, we are moving away from editions to stamping each volume with the year it was last updated.
This is a different way of doing things, so we are sure you have questions. We have answers:
Q: How often will updates come out?
A: When we have enough new or updated information to make it worth while.
Q: How do I know when to wait for an update BEFORE buying?
A: We are going to do something that no other publisher ever does…warn you of updates well ahead of time. That’s why it’s really important to register (see menu above or below).
Q: Will there be FREE or reduced books for previous buyers?
A: We obviously can’t provide free, or even reduced-price paper books—the printing cost and shipping would put us out of business. However, any small changes to the eBooks will be free and will happen automatically when you open The Guide on your device or computer when online.
Q: What if I bought a paper book just before you updated it?
A: Sorry, we know that’s irritating, but this has always been a risk with paper books.

And if you don’t want to buy a new paper book to get the updates (we understand that), the best option is to buy the eBook for the same volume. It’s less than half the cost of a paper book and is automatically updated once for free, including all added photographs and charts.
